The Finance Department‘s function is to quantify the company’s performance and objectives, enable cost-efficient growth, attain profit and make sure that it is properly reinvested and redistributed.

 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Adviser to oversee and manage all legal matters for our company. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and protecting the company’s legal interests, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, and providing strategic legal advice to senior management and various departments within the company. This role involves working closely with the COO, company directors, our Finance and accounting teams, and other Senior Managers.

Your responsibilities and duties will include:

 

1. Contract Management:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate all company contracts, including but not limited to those with external parties, franchisees, suppliers, and service providers;
  • Ensure that all contracts comply with company policies and legal standards;
  • Oversee and approve all contract-related documents, including Non-Disclosure agreements and other ancillary documents.
  • Collaborate with relevant Senior managers to define contract terms and conditions;

2. Trademark and intellectual property:

  • Manage and protect the company’s trademarks and other intellectual property rights;
  • Ensure compliance with all trademark regulations and address any potential infringements.

3. Legal аdvisory:

  • Provide legal advice and support to the company’s directors, COO, Finance Director, and accounting teams;
  • Work closely with the Customer Service Head to resolve pending claims and disputes, offering strategic guidance on the best course of action;
  • Assist with legal payroll matters, particularly concerning the UK market, including handling redundancies, drafting agreements, and liaising with external agencies like Croner.

4. Document Management:

  • Oversee the legal aspects of document management related to contracts and agreements;
  • Ensure proper filing, storage, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
